T-Code - MM02
Description - Read Long Text in transaction MM02
Recording Mode - Non Batch Recording Mode WITH SAP Controls
Steps -
1. Open transactionSHUTTLE.
2. Click button: New
3. Enter transaction code MM02.
4. Click button: Go
5. Choose a non-production SAP server in the system window.
6. Click button: OK
7. Log in to SAP.
8. Click button: OK
9. Enter the following information into the Recording Properties screen:

10. Click button: Next
11. You will now be launched into the MM02 transaction.
12. Enter the material number.
13. Click button: Select view(s) (F5)
14. Click button: Continue (Enter)
15. Click button: Additional data
16. Select Basic Data Text using the drop down selection button to the right of the tabs.
17. Select the language by clicking on the arrow to the left and press button: Editor
18. Select Goto -> Change Editor from the menu at the top of the screen.
19. Select each line you want to read by altering the text.
Note: You can type over the existing text with the same text or put a space on the line.
20. Click button: Back
21. Exit the transaction without saving. This will end the recording.
22. Click link: Create Mapping
Note: Auto Mapping will map the entire SHUTTLEfile to an Excel spreadsheet.
23. Map your data source file to the recording.
24. Click and drag from the source to the destination, in this case you will have mapping in both directions. Map the material number from the spreadsheet to the recording. Map the long text field from the recording to the spreadsheet. Each line in the long text will need its own column to populate in the spreadsheet.
Note: The long text that shows when you click on the Long Text button will not allow you to map as a Read field. You will need to map with the Long Text button toggled off.
This is not working for me. I get "Runtime error MESSAGE_TYPE_X has occurred"
